Too often a finished home drifts from its original design. A detail changes, a material is substituted, a finish is compromised. Hi, I'm Banu, co-founder of A&B and the person who will design your planting.
Plenty of plants look wonderful on the day they go in. The question I always ask is how they will look in August, after weeks above forty degrees. So I won't plant something just because it pleases on the day. I'll walk you through every choice, explain what each tree, palm and plant needs, and tell you honestly when something won't cope here.
Then I'm on site with our crew, setting out every plant myself, so the garden that grows is the one we agreed: one you'll enjoy for years, not just for a season.
Talk to Banu about your gardenA garden is decided long before the planting goes in. These are our team's own photographs, taken on site during the works and on completion.
Before any work starts, new paving, gates and finishes are sheeted and protected, and the existing trees are kept. Nothing that is already right gets damaged on the way to the result.
Mosaic is laid tile by tile, irrigation and lighting are hidden in the beds, then the softscaping: specimen palms, layered tropical planting and finished ground cover, set out to the design.
Edges are cleaned, planting is dressed and every light is checked after dark. You receive a garden that is finished, not one that needs another month to look right.

Phase 1: Consultation
Your first call, the site visit and an agreed brief.
Phase 2: Design
Concept, materials and layout, refined with you until it feels right, then a detailed proposal.
Phase 3: Approvals
We prepare the drawings and handle community and authority approvals, while ordering long-lead materials.
Phase 4: Build
Construction, planting and finishing, then a full walkthrough before handover. A garden alone is often quicker; a pool usually takes three to four months.

Banu is A&B's softscape expert, and she won't plant something just because it looks good on the day. She walks you through every choice, explains how each tree, palm and plant will cope with a Dubai summer, and only plants what she knows will still be thriving in August heat. She brings an American perspective and 5 years of experience, and personally signs off every project.
Craft & execution
Our Uzbek craftsmen are the hands that turn drawings into stone, timber, water and planting. They deliver residential and commercial work, including hand-painted murals and decorative walls for restaurants.
Our founders carry out the quality control on every project themselves. They check each stage on site, from the first setting-out to the final grout line, and nothing is handed over until they have signed it off.
